New Jersey Car Accidents

Auto collisions occur throughout the state of New Jersey every single day. Each year, hundreds of thousands of crashes are reported that injure and end the lives of countless individuals. Alarmingly, most of the car accidents reported throughout the nation are due to the actions of negligent drivers. Bad weather and vehicle malfunctions do contribute to some crashes, but drivers who choose to act carelessly, negligently, or recklessly while behind the wheel cause the majority of car accidents reported in the United States.

Accidents caused by negligent drivers are often more severe than other types of crashes. In one recent year, over 11,000 people were killed in traffic accidents caused by speeding. When drivers speed, they have less time to react in the case of a crash, and if they do end up colliding with another vehicle or structure at high speeds, the impact can be much more dangerous and devastating.

If driver negligence caused you to become injured, you should file a personal injury claim for financial compensation. A car crash attorney in Wall can help you learn more about your legal rights as an injured crash victim. People who are hurt due to the negligent actions of others are often eligible to collect monetary compensation for damages like medical bills, vehicle repairs, lost wages, and more. In the past ten years, driver negligence has become more common throughout the country, most likely due to the use of smartphones. The number of accidents caused by distracted drivers has skyrocketed to over 400,000 per year.
