Washington Township, NJ – Fatal Crash on Delsea Dr

Washington Township, NJ (January 14, 2020) – A resident of Sewell was killed and another driver injured on Monday, January 13th in a head-on collision 

John J. Myers Jr., 37, was driving his 2007 Lexus shortly after 8:30 p.m. northbound along Delsea Drive at Evans Lane when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, his vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a 2016 Land Rover. 

Both drivers were trapped inside their cars. 

Myers was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the Land Rover, a woman, 51, also a resident of Sewell, was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Her condition is listed as stable. 

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim, Mr. John J. Myers, Jr., at this time.  Our thoughts are with the injured victim and her family in hopes of a full recovery.
