West Babylon, NY – Southern St Pkwy Causes Traffic Accident near Belmont Ave

West Babylon, NY (March 14, 2023) – On the evening of March 14, an injury accident occurred in West Babylon. The accident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. 

Investigations show that two or more vehicles crashed on the Southern Street Parkway near Belmont Avenue. Both vehicles came to rest in the middle of the road, blocking two lanes of traffic. 

Firefighters and police went to the scene and worked to secure the roadway. Paramedics were also sent to the area to help injured parties and transport them to local hospitals if necessary. 

At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported. Authorities in West Babylon continue to investigate.
