West Orange, NJ (June 9, 2021) – A major motor vehicle accident reported on Sunday afternoon caused severe delays in West Orange. At around 2 p.m., on June 6, emergency crews were requested at the scene of an accident on Interstate 280.

Reports from authorities show that several vehicles, including a black sedan, a white SUV, a silver SUV, and a silver minivan, collided along Interstate 280. The vehicles left debris scattered across the highway after one of the involved vehicles rolled over.

The roadway was closed off between exits 8 and 10 as crews worked to clear the roadway.
