Woodland, NJ (September 26, 2022) – A driver fatally struck three pedestrians on Saturday, September 24th in Burlington County.

The incident occurred at about 11:25 p.m. when the driver of a Nissan Maxima traveling northbound along Chatworth Barnegat Road crashed into the back of a Ford Mustang in Woodland Township.

The driver of the Nissan then struck three pedestrians. The victims have since been identified as 50-year-old Dion Cardell, a resident of Browns Mills, 46-year-old Michael Stull, a resident of Hamilton, and 36-year-old Brian Blaszka, a resident of Forked River. 

All three men died at the scene. The driver of the Mustang received treatment for non-critical injuries. 

The driver of the Maxima was unharmed during the impact. 

The cause of the crash has not yet been released.
