Woodland, NJ – Eric Tomko Killed in Traffic Collision on Rt 72 near Rt 532
Woodland, NJ (September 18, 2023) – A motorcyclist from Bensalem, PA, identified as Eric Tomko, 47, lost his life in a fatal traffic accident in Woodland. The incident happened at around 8:49 p.m. on Saturday, September 16.
The collision occurred between three vehicles on Route 72. Tomko was headed east on a Yamaha motorcycle while a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west along with a Ford Escape that was right behind it. The Chevrolet attempted to turn left onto Route 532 when it was involved in a collision with the motorcycle. The motorcycle reportedly struck the rear passenger side of the Chevrolet.
Tomko was ejected from the bike just before both he and the motorcycle struck the passenger side of the front end of the Ford.
Police in Woodland continue to investigate the details of the accident.
