Yorktown, NY - Pedestrian Killed in Collision on Old Yorktown Rd near Strang Blvd

Yorktown, NY (October 19, 2023) - A Yorktown resident lost their life in a fatal pedestrian collision reported on Wednesday morning, October 18. Reports show the crash happened just before 7:00 a.m. 

Police say the 58-year-old pedestrian, who has not been identified, was declared deceased at the crash site on Old Yorktown Road. Several responders, including Empress EMS, Lake Mohegan Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the Lake Mohegan Fire Department all responded to the scene near Strang Boulevard. 

The Yorktown Police and the Westchester County Department of Safety are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash, which remain unclear at this time.
