Newark, NJ – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at Orange St & Myrtle Ave 

Newark, NJ (August 29, 2025) – Several people sustained injuries on Tuesday evening, August 26, after a multi-vehicle collision in the Lower Roseville neighborhood of Newark. 

The crash took place around 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Orange Street and Myrtle Avenue, drawing a major emergency response.

According to reports, multiple vehicles collided, leaving occupants hurt and in need of immediate medical attention.  Emergency responders arrived quickly, provided first aid at the scene, and transported victims to nearby hospitals for further treatment.  While the extent of the injuries has not been fully disclosed, authorities confirmed that more than one individual required medical care.

The Newark Police Department worked to secure the intersection, direct traffic, and begin investigating the cause of the crash.
