Car Accidents in New Jersey
Car accidents throughout New Jersey are unfortunately common, especially during morning commute hours. Intersections often experience heavy traffic, making collisions more likely when drivers are distracted or fail to yield. Even non-fatal crashes can cause serious harm, including emotional trauma, lost wages, and mounting medical expenses.
Injuries from motor vehicle accidents can range from minor bruises to catastrophic injuries such as head trauma or spinal damage. Victims often require long-term treatment and rehabilitation. When another driver’s negligence leads to harm, New Jersey law allows victims to pursue compensation with the help of a skilled car accident lawyer.
Compensation from a personal injury claim may include:
- Medical costs and rehabilitation expenses
- Lost wages and reduced earning capacity
- Pain and suffering
- Vehicle repair or replacement costs
When multiple vehicles are involved, liability can become complex. Police investigations, witness statements, and accident reconstruction reports help determine who was at fault. Having legal guidance ensures that injured victims are treated fairly and receive the compensation they deserve.
