Granville, NY (July 25, 2025) – A person tragically lost their life following a two-vehicle collision Thursday evening, July 24, at the intersection of State Route 22 and Hicks Road in Granville.
The New York State Police responded to the crash at approximately 6:22 p.m. According to reports, the incident involved two vehicles at the busy intersection. Emergency personnel arrived quickly and worked to secure the scene and provide aid to those involved.
Sadly, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending family notification. It is not clear how many people in total were involved or whether additional injuries occurred.
