Newark, NJ – 1 Injured in Two-Car Crash at Abinger Pl & Norwood St

Newark, NJ (November 14, 2025) – One person suffered injuries on Wednesday, November 12, after two vehicles collided in the Lower Vailsburg neighborhood of Newark. The crash happened near the intersection of Abinger Place and Norwood Street during the morning hours.

Emergency crews arrived soon after the crash and assisted the injured individual. Responders evaluated the victim’s condition and checked both vehicles for hazards. Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles while crews cleared debris from the intersection. Officials have not released further details about how the crash happened or the severity of the injuries.
