Vineland, NJ (November 26, 2025) – A three-vehicle crash in Vineland left one woman dead and two other women injured on Monday afternoon, November 24. Officers responded around 2:12 p.m. to North Lincoln Avenue and Maple Avenue after receiving reports of a serious collision.
Investigators said a blue Honda Civic traveled south on North Lincoln Avenue. The Civic struck the back of a vehicle trailer that a white Ford pickup truck was towing. The pickup truck had begun a left turn into a driveway when the impact occurred. The force of the crash pushed the Civic into the northbound lane.
Once the Civic crossed into oncoming traffic, it struck a white Hyundai Santa Fe head-on. The collision caused heavy damage to both vehicles. Emergency crews rushed to help the people involved. Paramedics treated three women at the scene. They then flew the driver of the Civic to a nearby hospital due to critical injuries. She later died from those injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. Ambulance crews took her to a local hospital for more care. The driver of the pickup truck declined transport but reported pain at the scene.
Police have not released additional details about what factors led to the first impact. The crash involved a complex chain of events, and investigators will review vehicle positions, turn timing, and witness accounts. The Vineland Police Department Traffic Unit continues its work, and the investigation remains active.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of the woman who lost her life in this tragic crash.
Car Accidents in New Jersey
Car Accidents in New Jersey often happen on busy routes, where neighborhood driveways and turning traffic create constant conflict points. A left turn across traffic can turn deadly when drivers misjudge speed or distance. The risk rises when a truck pulls a long trailer, since the turning path takes more space and more time to clear the lane.
Several issues can increase danger at intersections and driveways in New Jersey. Drivers may follow too closely and struggle to stop. Some may look down at their phones for a moment and miss a slowing vehicle. Others may rush through an intersection to beat a light. In older drivers, slower reaction time can also play a role, especially when traffic moves fast, and sight lines feel crowded. Any one of these factors can set off a collision that pulls other cars into the crash.
After a fatal multi-vehicle wreck, surviving victims and families often face steep costs. Hospital care, rehabilitation, and future medical needs can add up quickly. A head-on impact can also leave someone with long-term pain, limited mobility, or emotional trauma that disrupts daily life. Families dealing with a loss may also face funeral expenses and the sudden absence of income or support that the person provided.
In a case like this, a wrongful death attorney may help a family seek financial recovery tied to the loss. A claim may cover medical bills linked to the final injury, burial costs, lost financial support, and the emotional weight that follows a preventable death.
For injured survivors, compensation may include treatment costs, therapy, time missed from work, and pain that affects their quality of life. Insurance companies often move fast after a serious crash. They may request statements or offer early settlements before victims know the full impact of their injuries. When multiple vehicles are involved, insurers may argue over fault. That can delay care reimbursement and increase stress for families. A lawyer can step in to gather evidence, work with crash experts, and handle negotiations while victims focus on healing.
