Car Accidents in New JerseyTwo-Vehicle Collision with Injuries Near Washington Ave & 4th St

Car accidents in New Jersey occur frequently on busy roadways. The city’s mix of residential neighborhoods, commercial traffic, and commuter routes increases the potential for collisions, especially during morning and evening rush hours.

Many of these crashes happen because of preventable driver behaviors, including:

  • Distracted driving, such as texting or adjusting navigation systems
  • Speeding or following too closely
  • Failure to obey traffic signals or stop signs
  • Fatigue, especially among drivers traveling long distances
  • Impaired driving from alcohol or drugs
  • Adverse weather conditions reduce visibility and road traction

Even low-speed accidents can result in painful injuries that impact victims’ lives. Common injuries include neck and back strain, concussions, broken bones, and soft tissue damage. These injuries often require medical attention, physical therapy, and time away from work, leaving victims under financial and emotional strain.
