Kearny, NJ – Newark-Jersey City Turnpike Scene of Injury Rollover

Kearny, NJ (March 19, 2024) – A collision occurred on the Newark-Jersey City Turnpike on Saturday, March 16, that took one life and caused several injuries. 

Reports show the wreck happened at around 7:00 a.m. when a vehicle rolled over during a five-vehicle collision. One passenger, identified as a male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Several others involved sustained injuries, according to information from police. The Kearny Police Department’s Traffic Unit continues to investigate.
