Berlin, NJ (December 11, 2025) – A serious three-vehicle collision injured five people on Wednesday, December 10, along the White Horse Pike in Berlin. The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. between Franklin Avenue and Malan Avenue.
According to the Berlin Police, the impact caused severe damage to all three vehicles and blocked both sides of the highway. Four people suffered potentially serious injuries, while another person sustained an injury that officers described as possible but not yet confirmed. Emergency crews transported all five individuals to nearby hospitals for further evaluations and treatment.
The crash created major delays as first responders cleared debris and assisted victims. Officials reopened the White Horse Pike later in the morning once they ensured the roadway was safe for travel.
Investigators with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Crash Investigation Team joined Berlin police at the scene to determine what led to the collision.
Authorities continue their investigation into this multi-vehicle crash.
We send our best wishes to all five individuals hurt in this incident and hope they recover quickly.
Car Accidents in New Jersey
Car accidents in New Jersey often happen on busy commuter routes, where thousands of drivers travel each day. Heavy traffic, frequent stops, and tight intersections create challenges that can lead to serious collisions. This recent multi-vehicle crash shows how quickly a routine morning drive can turn into a dangerous situation.
Many factors can raise the risk of car accidents on high-traffic roads. Drivers may lose focus while navigating congestion, or they may misjudge gaps when merging. When multiple vehicles travel at different speeds or follow too closely, even a minor mistake can trigger a chain-reaction crash. Weather changes, such as early morning fog or wet pavement, also make conditions unpredictable.
Drivers involved in serious car accidents often face overwhelming challenges afterward. Injuries may require immediate hospital care, surgeries, or long-term rehabilitation. Victims may miss work for days or weeks, adding financial strain to an already stressful recovery. In severe cases, injuries lead to lasting physical limitations that affect a person’s daily life.
Victims of car accidents may seek several forms of compensation, including medical costs, lost wages, and damages for pain and suffering. They may also pursue compensation for rehabilitation, long-term care needs, and property damage.
Understanding these options allows injured individuals to make informed decisions as they move forward.
Car accident victims in New Jersey often benefit from speaking with an experienced car accident lawyer.
