Bridgeton, NJ (November 3, 2025) – A man remains in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene on Sunday, November 2, in Cumberland County. According to the Bridgeton Police Department, the collision occurred shortly before 6 p.m. at the intersection of South Avenue and Garfield Avenue.

Police said the pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for emergency treatment. The driver involved in the crash fled the area before officers arrived, prompting an ongoing search for the suspect.
