Buffalo, NY (July 29, 2025) – A motorcyclist was killed in a tragic three-vehicle crash on Monday evening, July 28, at the intersection of Bowen Avenue and Broadway in Lancaster.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. when the motorcyclist, identified as 32-year-old Adam Curtis, was traveling eastbound on Broadway. Curtis collided with a pickup truck before crashing into an SUV traveling westbound on Broadway.
The drivers of both the pickup truck and the SUV remained at the scene and are cooperating with the authorities as they investigate. Fortunately, neither of the other drivers was injured.
Police reported no signs of impairment in any of the involved drivers, but speed appears to have been a contributing factor in the crash. Authorities continue to gather evidence and reconstruct the incident to determine the full cause of the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials have not yet released additional details about the circumstances of the collision.
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Adam Curtis’s family and friends during this difficult time.
