Newark, NJ – Four Injured in Traffic Wreck at McCarter Highway & Elm St
Newark, NJ (December 28, 2022) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a traffic accident in the Central Business District then ended with injuries. Around 2:35 p.m. on December 27, authorities were notified that a crash occurred on McCarter Highway.
According to law enforcement, a traffic wreck blocked McCarter Highway at the intersection of Elm Street. Police and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident to provide assistance.
Medics were notified that they were needed at the site of the accident. A total of four people suffered injuries due to the crash. The victims were provided care at the scene briefly and transported to area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
