Brooklyn, NY – Five Injured in Structure Fire on 9th St near Lowe’s
Brooklyn, NY (December 21, 2023) – A structure fire with injuries occurred in Brooklyn on Thursday morning, December 21. At around 11:08 a.m., EMS units and fire crews responded to the scene. The blaze happened on 9th Street on the third floor of a private home and then spread to a connected house. Fire crews worked to battle the flames and rescue anyone trapped inside. Five individuals reportedly suffered injuries in the fire, including two firefighters. The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time. According to local reports, approximately 140 fire and EMS personnel were present at the scene. Police in Brooklyn continue to investigate.
