Mountainside, NJ – Two Injured in Collision on Rt 22 near Lawrence Ave
Mountainside, NJ (March 27, 2024) – A car crash happened in Mountainside on the morning of March 25 that caused injuries.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on Route 22. Two people sustained injuries in the wreck that took place when a 2012 Honda, operated by a 69-year-old woman from Somerset, changed lanes abruptly while headed west in the fast lane in order to avoid crashing into another vehicle ahead. While doing so, the Honda crashed with a 2024 Acura driven by a woman from Bridgewater, age 46. The Honda overturned during the crash, according to reports. Both drivers sustained injuries and were taken to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment. Police in Mountainside continue to investigate.
