North Jersey, NJ (October 20, 2025) – Authorities are investigating a deadly multi-vehicle crash that claimed at least two lives on Sunday night, October 19, along Ringwood Avenue in North Jersey.
According to officials, the collision occurred just before 9:20 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a serious crash involving several vehicles. Police officers and emergency crews rushed to the scene and found a devastating accident involving at least three cars.
One of the vehicles had overturned, while another was so severely damaged it appeared, as witnesses described, “crumpled like a piece of paper.” First responders worked quickly to reach the victims trapped inside the wreckage. Tragically, at least two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are now leading the investigation to determine the cause of the crash. They are collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing nearby surveillance footage to understand what led to the deadly collision.
Officials have not yet released the names of the victims pending notification of their families. The investigation remains ongoing.
