
Trenton, NJ (September 8, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian crash claimed a man’s life on Sunday afternoon, September 7, in Trenton.
Officers responded just before 2:00 p.m. to New Willow Street near Jennett Street, where they found the victim lying in the roadway.
Investigators determined that a car struck the man while he was walking in the area. Paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors later pronounced him dead. Officials have not released the victim’s identity.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office stated that an autopsy is scheduled to confirm the exact cause of death. The Trenton Police Department and the prosecutor’s office are working together to investigate and locate the driver involved.
