
Brentwood, NY (February 24, 2023) - A car crash happened in Brentwood that ended the life of one person. The incident occurred on the evening of February 24, Friday.
Sources say the collision happened when a man from Brentwood was driving while intoxicated. He was involved in a collision on Suffolk Avenue near Fulton Street that took the life of one of his passengers.
The wreck occurred at around 4:30 a.m., according to reports. The man’s vehicle reportedly struck a garbage truck. He had two passengers inside at the time.
Ronald Landaverde, who was riding in the front seat, lost his life due to the extent of his injuries. The driver and other passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The garbage truck driver sustained no injuries.
