Bronx, NY – Felix Thomas Bonita Identified as Victim Killed in Speedway Crash on Webster Ave
Bronx, NY (February 23, 2023) – As previously reported, a man lost his life in a fatal crash at the Speedway carwash in the Bronx. The incident occurred just before 5:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, February 19.
Reports show that 47-year-old Felix Thomas Bonita was working at the 24-hour carwash when he was struck by a speeding SUV while drying off another vehicle. The SUV then fled the scene without stopping to render aid or wait for the police to arrive.
Two women were reportedly inside the SUV at the time of the crash. Authorities in the Bronx are still on the search for the two suspects.
