Middletown, NJ (July 30, 2025) – Four individuals have been charged in connection with a deadly crash on the Garden State Parkway that claimed the life of one young man and left another seriously injured on June 29.
The crash occurred around 7:04 p.m. near mile marker 130 southbound. New Jersey State Police troopers responded to the scene and found two passengers, Albion Hysenaj, 20, and a 21-year-old Staten Island resident, ejected from a BMW X3 that had rolled over multiple times. Both victims were rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, but tragically, Hysenaj was later pronounced dead. The second passenger sustained serious injuries.
Further investigation revealed that two vehicles, a BMW X3 driven by Alvi Limani, 20, of Staten Island, and a BMW M5 driven by Jeter Ogando, 23, of Perth Amboy, had been racing when the BMW X3 collided with two other vehicles before flipping. Emily Harrington, 19, of Staten Island, was also a passenger in the BMW X3 but was not ejected from the car.
Limani and Harrington fled the scene on foot following the crash. The New Jersey State Police and Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office are continuing to investigate the incident.
The charges against the four individuals, which include racing and leaving the scene of an accident, have not been fully disclosed, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Fatal Car Accidents and Street Racing in New Jersey
Fatal car accidents, particularly those involving street racing, have devastating consequences for all involved. The Garden State Parkway has seen its share of deadly crashes, and many are linked to reckless driving, including street racing, which puts everyone on the road at risk.
Street racing is illegal and extremely dangerous. It often leads to high-speed collisions, loss of control, and serious injuries or fatalities. When a driver’s reckless behavior results in death or serious harm, victims and their families have the right to seek justice and compensation.
In New Jersey, the consequences of street racing can be severe. Individuals found guilty of participating in street races may face criminal charges, including vehicular manslaughter, endangerment, and hit-and-run. Additionally, victims or their families can pursue wrongful death claims or personal injury lawsuits to recover damages for medical bills, funeral costs, lost wages, and emotional suffering.
If you or a loved one has been involved in a crash caused by street racing or reckless driving, a wrongful death attorney can help navigate the legal complexities and fight for the compensation you deserve.
