Elizabeth, NJ – Injuries Reported in Three-Car Accident on Rte 1 NB

Elizabeth, NJ (September 29, 2025) – A three-car accident on Route 1 Northbound near Greer Avenue resulted in at least one injury on Sunday afternoon, September 28.

The crash occurred around 12:06 p.m., causing significant traffic delays in the area as emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene. The vehicles involved were reported to have collided in a chain reaction, but it remains unclear exactly how the accident started. 

The driver of one vehicle sustained injuries and was treated on-site by paramedics before being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
