Watertown, NY (December 4, 2025) – Two drivers went to the hospital after a morning crash in Watertown on Wednesday, December 3. The collision happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of William Street and Academy Street. The crossing uses a four-way stop, and drivers must take turns through the area.
The Watertown Police Department said a gray vehicle failed to stop at the sign and entered the intersection. The gray car then struck a marked patrol vehicle. Officers said the police car was not on an emergency call at the time. Its lights and sirens were off when the crash happened.
