McLean, NY (June 11, 2026) – Four people were taken to area hospitals Monday afternoon, June 8, after a three-vehicle wreck at the intersection of State Route 13 and Gulf Hill Road in Tompkins County. The collision involved two passenger vehicles and a box truck, and was reported at approximately 4:20 p.m.
Three of the four people hurt were brought to Upstate Trauma Center. The fourth was taken to Cortland Guthrie Medical Center. The severity of their injuries was not included in the initial report on the accident.
Route 13 between Sweetland and Dutcher Roads was closed for roughly an hour and a half while emergency units worked the scene. The road cleared by around 6 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
