Bridgeton, NJ – 10-Year-Old Girl in Critical Condition After Hit & Run on E Broad St
Bridgeton, NJ (May 11, 2023) – A hit-and-run in South Jersey left a 10-year-old girl with critical injuries on Wednesday evening, May 10. Authorities responded to the crash scene shortly after 7:00 p.m. after receiving reports concerning a pedestrian accident.
Preliminary reports show that a 10-year-old girl from Bridgeton was crossing East Broad Street and headed toward the convenience store when she was struck by an SUV. She was left with serious injuries, and she was listed in critical condition on Thursday morning.
The driver left the scene without stopping and was last seen headed north on Bank Street Extension toward East Commerce Street. Authorities in Bridgeton continue to investigate.
