Bronx, NY (May 10, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered critical injuries in an accident that occurred in Van Cortlandt Park. Reports show the incident happened at around 7:43 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10.
Responders went to the scene on the Major Deegan Expressway near exit 13. EMS was seen rendering aid on-site and transporting the injured victim to a local hospital.
At this time, those involved have not been identified. Traffic was delayed at the scene due to the center and right lanes of the Deegan Expressway being closed for some time.
Authorities in the Bronx continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
