Bronx, NY (May 28, 2024) – A teenager lost their life in a crash that happened in the Bronx on Tuesday, May 28. Reports from authorities show the wreck happened when the teen was riding a scooter and became involved in a crash with an SUV. Records show the wreck occurred on University Avenue. The girl driving the scooter was 16 years old, while the driver of the vehicle was 19. Both were headed north on University Avenue in University Heights when they collided. The driver stayed on-site and cooperated with authorities. Police continue to investigate.
