Bronx, NY – Woman Killed in Wreck on Viele Ave near Manida St
Bronx, NY (July 22, 2024) – A woman from Pennsylvania lost her life in a traffic accident in the Bronx. Reports from authorities show the wreck occurred on Viele Avenue near Manida Street, at around 2:45 a.m., on Saturday, July 20. The wreck happened when a purple BMW collided with a Ford Focus the woman was riding in. The woman, identified as Jinmaris Melendez, age 21, suffered substantial injuries to her head and body. She was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where she later lost her life. Police in the Bronx continue to investigate the details of the accident.
