Brooklyn, NY – Injury Collision on I-278 near Atlantic Ave

Brooklyn, NY (June 20, 2024) – Injuries were reported as the result of an auto accident that happened in Brooklyn on June 20. At approximately 1:20 p.m., the wreck occurred on Interstate 278 near Atlantic Avenue. EMTs, police, and other responders were dispatched to the area shortly after it happened near Atlantic Avenue. EMS helped those who were hurt and took them to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, those involved have not been identified. The cause of the wreck currently remains unknown as police continue to investigate. The interstate was closed while responders were present, forcing local drivers to use alternate routes.
