Cumberland Co., NJ – One Killed, Four Kids Hurt in Wreck on Highland St
Cumberland Co., NJ (June 28, 2024) – A driver lost their life, and four minor passengers were hurt when an SUV crashed into a dump truck at an intersection in Cumberland County. The wreck occurred on Thursday morning, June 26. Brandy Woolson, 43, a resident of Millville, was operating an SUV headed west on Highland just before 9:00 a.m. when she entered the intersection with Steep Run Road. A dump truck headed north on Steep Run ran a stop sign and struck the side of the SUV. Woolson lost her life due to the extent of her injuries, reports said. A 16-year-old female passenger in the SUV suffered injuries deemed moderate, police said. Two 4-year-old boys and a 2-year-old girl suffered minor injuries. All four kids were taken to an area medical center to be treated for their wounds. The incident remains under police investigation at this time.
