Elizabeth, NJ (April 15, 2025) – An injury crash occurred on Tuesday night, April 15, in Elizabeth, temporarily disrupting traffic on the westbound entrance ramp of the New Jersey Turnpike near Jersey Gardens Boulevard, just before Interchange 13A. The two-vehicle collision prompted an emergency response and led to at least one person being hospitalized.
According to the New Jersey State Police, the crash took place at approximately 9:28 p.m. on the ramp leading from Jersey Gardens Blvd to the NJ Turnpike. Preliminary reports indicate that two vehicles collided under still-undetermined circumstances. First responders, including EMS, the Elizabeth Fire Department, and State Police, arrived on the scene quickly to assist the injured and secure the area.
