Car Accidents in New JerseyRollover Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-76 W Near Exit 2

Rollover crashes on New Jersey highways often start with a simple mistake that turns serious fast. These roads move at high speeds, and lanes tighten near exits and ramps. When drivers react late, a heavy impact or sharp swerve can flip a vehicle in seconds. Even if injuries seem minor at first, people can still face pain, missed work, and rising costs later.

Several common issues can lead to crashes like this one:

  • Speeding, which shortens reaction time and makes a hit more forceful.
  • Distracted driving, such as looking at a phone or GPS instead of the road ahead.
  • Following too closely leaves no space to stop when traffic is slow.
  • Unsafe lane changes, especially near busy merges and exit areas.
  • Failure to yield, when a driver enters or crosses lanes without a clear gap.
  • Impaired driving, including alcohol, drugs, or even extreme fatigue.
  • Poor weather, like rain or fog, reduces visibility and traction.
  • Vehicle problems, such as worn tires or brake issues, that affect control.

When a crash happens, insurance companies often move quickly. They may ask for statements or push early offers. A car accident lawyer can step in to gather records, review police findings, and deal with adjusters while you focus on recovery. If the other driver caused the wreck, you may seek compensation for medical care, lost income, and the pain the crash added to your life.
