Motorcycle Crashes in Gloucester Township
Motorcycle accidents in Gloucester Township and across Camden County are often deadly due to the exposed nature of the rider. While motorcycles make up a small percentage of registered vehicles in New Jersey, they are involved in a disproportionate number of serious injury and fatal crashes.
Some key dangers facing motorcyclists in suburban and rural areas like Gloucester Township include:
- Limited Visibility – Drivers often fail to see motorcycles at intersections.
- Left-Turn Accidents – Many motorcycle crashes occur when a vehicle turns left in front of a rider.
- Excessive Speed – Both riders and other drivers travelling too fast increase the risk of catastrophic injuries.
- Intersection Collisions – Busy cross streets like Sicklerville Rd and Berlin-Cross Keys Rd are common crash zones.
- Driver Distraction – Cell phone use, GPS navigation, and inattentiveness can lead to sudden, tragic consequences.
In fatal crashes, surviving family members may pursue a wrongful death claim. These claims can help with funeral costs, loss of income, and other damages resulting from a loved one’s death.
In cases where another driver is at fault, a motorcycle accident lawyer can provide support. An attorney can investigate the crash, preserve evidence, and hold negligent parties accountable.
