Hempstead, NY – Adrian Hall Killed in Car Car Crash on Southern State Pkwy

Hempstead, NY (November 17, 2022) – Police in Hempstead responded to the scene of an injury accident on November 12. Just before 9:00 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the wreck site to render aid and investigate. 

Reports show that the accident occurred on the westbound Southern State Parkway between exits 16 and 17 in Nassau County. Preliminary investigations showed that a 2006 BMW M3 was headed west on the Parkway when it rear-ended a 2022 Chevy Equinox. 

The crash forced both vehicles onto the right shoulder of the roadway. The BMW then hit the guardrail and overturned before striking a utility box. The driver, identified as Haynes Harris, age 40, of Baldwin, was transported to NYU Langone Hospital with injuries. 

The BMW’s passenger, 51-year-old Adrian Hall, was taken to NYU Langone Hospital with critical injuries. He later lost his life. 

The only person present in the Chevy was also taken to NYU Langone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Harris was arrested and charged with Manslaughter among other criminal charges.
