Hopewell, NJ – Pedestrian Injured in Collision on E Broad St near Elm St
Hopewell, NJ (November 21, 2023) – A pedestrian was seriously hurt in a collision that happened in Hopewell. The wreck took place at the intersection of East Broad Street near Elm Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night, November 18. The 48-year-old man from Hopewell was crossing East Broad Street at the intersection with Elm Street in a crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle headed west on Broad. Hopewell Township Police went to the scene shortly after along with paramedics.
The man was transported to an area hospital by ambulance with numerous severe head injuries. The man driving the vehicle, identified as a 61-year-old from Lambertville, stayed at the scene and worked with investigators. Police in Hopewell continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
