Bus Accidents in New Jersey
Collisions involving buses and passenger vehicles, such as the one recently reported, can result in serious injuries, including head trauma and other catastrophic harm. The size and weight of a bus make these types of accidents particularly dangerous for occupants of smaller vehicles.
In busy areas like Jersey City, where traffic congestion and limited visibility are daily challenges, these crashes often occur at intersections during peak commuting hours. Common causes include:
- Driver distraction or fatigue
- Speeding or sudden lane changes
- Failure to yield at intersections
- Mechanical failures or maintenance issues
Victims of bus accidents may face extensive recovery periods, medical bills, and lost income. When a bus company or driver’s negligence contributes to a crash, victims may have the right to seek compensation for their injuries.
Working with an experienced personal injury lawyer can make a major difference in recovering fair compensation. A knowledgeable attorney can investigate the crash, gather evidence, and hold responsible parties accountable, including the bus operator, driver, or maintenance provider.
At Metro Law, we are dedicated to helping accident victims and their families rebuild after serious crashes. Our team understands the physical, emotional, and financial challenges that follow an injury and will fight to secure the compensation you deserve.
