Linden, NJ (May 12, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred late Monday morning, May 12, on the northbound outer roadway of the New Jersey Turnpike, just south of Interchange 13 – I-278/Goethals Bridge, in the city of Linden, Union County. The collision prompted a significant emergency response and blocked the left lane of the four-lane section.
According to initial reports, the crash happened at around noon and involved two vehicles traveling northbound. Emergency crews from the Linden Fire Department, EMS, and New Jersey State Police responded swiftly to the scene. First responders worked to stabilize the situation, manage the heavy traffic buildup, and assist the injured.
