Manhattan, NY – FDR Dr Scene of Injury Wreck near 71st St
Manhattan, NY (May 1, 2024) – A car accident ended in injuries in Manhattan on May 1. Emergency crews including EMTs and police were dispatched to the scene shortly after it occurred on the Franklin D Roosevelt Drive near 71st Street. Injuries were reported as a result of the wreck, however, the nature of those injuries remains unknown at this time. Traffic was stopped back to 79th Street while emergency crews were present in the area. At least one person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police in Manhattan continue to investigate.
