Manhattan, NY (December 16, 2024) – An injury pedestrian crash occurred on Monday morning in East Harlem, near the intersection of E 131st St and Madison Ave. The incident, reported by the New York Police Department, took place at approximately 6:35 a.m. EST.

According to authorities, the sanitation truck was navigating the area when it collided with the pedestrian. Emergency medical services (EMS) quickly responded to the scene, transporting the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been confirmed, but initial reports indicate serious harm.

The New York Fire Department (FDNY) was also on the scene to assist with the extraction and secure the area.
