Mercer Co., NJ – Man Killed in Car Crash on New Jersey Turnpike
Mercer Co., NJ (December 27, 2023) – The New Jersey State Police confirmed that former police officer Toye Muhammad lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place in Robbinsville Township.
According to official reports, at around 4:30 a.m. on December 22, those state police were called to the scene of an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike. According to official reports, a Mercury passenger vehicle and a Freightliner tractor-trailer were involved in a crash on the southbound side of the Turnpike near mile marker 59.9.
The impact of the crash caused the Mercury to strike a concrete barrier before bursting into flames. One person involved in the accident, identified as Muhammad, was fatally injured as a result of the crash. He was pronounced deceased by authorities.
