Millville, NJ (October 23, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian crash occurred early Tuesday morning in Millville, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Caroline Bump. The incident was reported by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office and took place around 1:39 a.m. on Glenside Rd.

According to authorities, Caroline Bump, a resident of Mallard St, was struck by a vehicle around 11:11 p.m. on October 21, but her body was not discovered until several hours later by a passing motorist. Emergency responders from the Millville Police Department arrived at the scene and pronounced her dead upon arrival.

Investigators have reviewed surveillance footage from the neighborhood and are currently searching for a 2003 silver Infiniti G35 with New Jersey registration E41RLB. Authorities believe this car may have damage to the driver’s side headlight, windshield, and front bumper.
