Montgomery, NJ – Injuries Result from Multi-Vehicle Crash on Rt 206

Montgomery, NJ (March 7, 2024) – A woman from Hillsborough with two children in her vehicle was charged with careless driving after she crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle head-on in Montgomery, causing multiple injuries.

At around 2:46 p.m. on March 3, police and EMS in Montgomery were sent to Route 206 between Montgomery Road and Sycamore Lane after receiving reports concerning a traffic accident with injuries. The 43-year-old woman was headed south on Route 206 in her 2015 Toyota Prius when she attempted to re-enter a lane of travel after passing other vehicles. She struck the front passenger side of a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder operated by a 47-year-old man from Hillsborough. This caused the woman to cross the center line into oncoming traffic where she was involved in a head-on crash with a 2018 Toyota Tacoma headed north driven by a woman, age 49, of Canton, New York. The female driver who caused the crash and her front-seat passenger suffered injuries to their upper body, according to reports. A backseat passenger, age 6, suffered a serious leg injury and a 10-year-old passenger who was also in the backseat suffered no injuries. Those who were in the Prius at the time of the accident were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-New Brunswick to be treated for their injuries. Those in the Tacoma were taken to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center for treatment. The roadway was closed for more than three hours after the incident in order to allow officials to work at the scene.

We hope for the full recovery of those with injuries.
