Rahway, NJ (October 18, 2024) – An injury car crash occurred on October 17 at the intersection of W. Inman Avenue and Berthold Avenue. The incident, reported by Rahway Police Department, took place just before 3 p.m. involving a 2019 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 17-year-old resident of Plainfield, and a 2010 Honda Civic, driven by a 17-year-old from Matawan.
According to preliminary reports from Rahway PD, the collision occurred when the Honda Civic entered the intersection from Berthold Avenue and was struck by the Nissan Rogue traveling east on W. Inman Ave. The Rahway Fire Department and First Aid Squad responded promptly to the scene, treating the injured individuals and transporting them to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. Additionally, property damage was reported at 836 W. Inman Avenue due to the crash. Local police are investigating the wreck.
