Monroe Twp, NJ – Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on S Black Horse Pike near Corkery Ln
Monroe Twp, NJ (August 10, 2023) – Authorities in Monroe Township are currently searching for the driver connected to a deadly hit-and-run collision that occurred on Friday, August 4. Police say the crash happened at around 9:30 p.m.
Reports show the accident occurred in the 1400 block of South Black Horse Pike near Corkery Lane. A white Ford E Series van was driving on the Black Horse Pike when it struck a man attempting to cross the road.
The victim was later identified as 45-year-old Thomas Hoff of Williamstown. Hoff was pronounced deceased on-site.
The roadway was closed for some time while emergency responders worked in the area. Local drivers were forced to use alternate routes.
