Ridgewood, NJ (September 19, 2024) – A driver was taken into custody following a collision on East Ridgewood Avenue earlier yesterday, where her SUV struck two parked vehicles. The accident occurred near Hope Street in the heart of Ridgewood, a village in Bergen County, around 11:00 AM. The motorist, who was driving a Chevy Equinox, reportedly collided with a parked Honda CRV and a Mazda CX-5 while traveling westbound on East Ridgewood Avenue.
According to authorities, the driver declined medical attention at the scene and was arrested after failing a field sobriety test conducted by Ridgewood police.
