Toms River, NJ – Christopher Howell Hurt in Car Wreck on Garden State Pkwy

Toms River, NJ (May 20, 2024) – Christopher Howell, a 32-year-old man from Beachwood, suffered severe injuries following a crash between a passenger sedan and a pickup truck on May 19. The wreck was reported at around 3:30 p.m. at the Garden State Parkway in the southbound lanes near milepost 83.8.

A Honda passenger vehicle and a Ford pickup truck were headed south when they crashed and struck the guardrail. Howell was ejected from his car during the crash. The pickup ran off the road and turned over, causing the driver and passenger in the truck to sustain minor injuries. Howell was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police in Toms River continue to investigate.
